Being the Oldest...

I think the hardest thing I ever had to be was the oldest child. Why?
So many responsibilities…
Endless expectations…
So many you could let down…
Someone always looking up to you…
Acting sure when you’re so unsure...
Being strong when you want to cry…
Giving an answer for things you can’t truly explain…
Being an example so those behind you will have an example...
Doing the right thing when you sometimes want to be the baby...
Being the bigger person…
Protecting them...
Defending them…
Teaching them how to tie their shoes...
Encouraging them...
Helping them pick their clothes...
Sharing your things with them...
Sharing your friendships with them…
Pulling Pranks on them...
Having to take them everywhere you go…
Holding them when they cry or get in trouble…
Telling them it will be ok and things will be better…
Always having to hear “You’re the oldest “or “You’re responsible for your brother or sister”
Letting them know you love them...

Being the oldest …

You can’t shelter them anymore.
You can’t protect them anymore.
You can’t make decisions for them anymore.
You have to let them live their life and hope for the best.
Sometimes you feel like a parent but you’re just the oldest.
You pray to God they never forget the things you taught them.
You hope they learned something from you.
You hope they walk with God and talk to God. Rely on God as you tried to show them.

Through it all...you've became true friends.
Being the oldest…
You will never stop worrying, caring, being overbearing, expecting more, seeing all their true potential, their abilities, and hoping they see it too.

Being the Oldest- is a lifetime job.

Underestimated...

I am bigger than I appear....

4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because GREATER is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.- 1 John 4:4 KJV

There are times when my abilities are underestimated. There are times when I am overlooked. I am even misunderstood. Those are the times God really does shine through me because he gets the glory in everything. How? Because I am underestimated anything I accomplish above and beyond will show something greater had to be working with me, through me, and around me.

Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

When you are placed in that position in your life, in friendships, at work, or wherever that is the time you should allow God's abilities to be shown through you. Don't become frustrated or become discouraged instead strive to be a willing vessel for God to use. Release and surrender your will to receive the fullness he wants to work through you. When you do that greater impression will be made to those to receive the fullness of God as you did. Sometimes we are the example of the proof of a true relationship with God and we must demonstrated his ways in our lives when we want to get emotional as most would. So repeat the word of God over your life daily!

With God, you can accomplish anything and do greater things!

1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

You must remember, you are bigger than any trouble and can accomplish greater with the Spirit of God leading and guiding you through everything..

Anger...

Be Angry, AND yet Do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.

We are human beings. We do get angry but the Bible says it is ok to be angry just don't sin. How do we open an opportunity for the devil?

Well, we begin to seek revenge, we gossip, we stop loving our neighbors, we show no mercy or grace, and we forget we must be Christ-like and minded.

Do not allow anger to control you to becoming unGodly. Yes, we do hurt and people expect Christians to be without angry and we get upset about things. We do not have to be of this world but with Christ we can become above our emotions and rise above our anger.

God Bless

Prayer & Worship NOW!

John 4:24, "God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

I have been spending my days worshiping God and in prayer. There is a need right now for worship and interceding for God's people. We must take the time now to spend as much time as we can in worship.  Allow God to speak through you and to you. He will begin to reveal purpose, answering your why & why not's, and he will send the comforter to bring peace in the atmosphere. Worship will not only bring you closer to God and allow you to hear him the more but God will answer quickly! Authentic genuine worship comes from the heart so start in your home, at work, in the car, any and every where. Worship the Lord! For he is God all by himself!

Psalms 99:5 Exalt the LORD our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he!

Psalms 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

We should even take the time to kneel in his presences. We kneel to acknowledge is Kingdom position. We are so unworthy of his essence and his glory but he shows up every time. Women of God spend this week in Prayer & Worship. Make sure to Fast as you are in prayer and worship! This mixture will release supernatural things into your life. This is confuse the enemy and change lives.

James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you…

Begin to call out, yell out, shout, dance, and give God the greatest worship from your heart. Just adore him for being God and petition in prayer for those you know in need of it the most. At the end of your prayer ask God to cover your house and family. Ask God to stir up the gifts in your life this very hour. Ask God to remove every impurity, remove every negative thought, and saturate you with his anointing to carry. His glory has greater weight than any burden your bare.

Psalms 29:2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.

This song has really working on me this week. My Desire by William McDowell:

Prayer...

  •  Dear God, Thank you for being the great I am, Prince of Peace, Alpha and Omega, the author and finisher. I am thankful to call upon the most high God and hears my earnest prayer. I thank you for the new day, life, health and strength. I thank you for family and friends! I asked that your angels protect them and cover them in their goings and coming. I speak peace into every women's life on this page. I speak joy, love, compassion, grace, and mercy to follow them all the day long. God I asked that you strengthen the women of God as they walk this straight and narrow path. That they never get weary in their well doing. They stand in the mist of trouble and rely on you in every area of their lives. That they seek Godly advice and surround themselves with positive Godly people who and speak life in a dead place. Lord I pray that they put their TRUST in you and not man. That they never doubt the word of God but stand on his promises and endure the journey. I praise you for every blessing you have given them in life health strength and sound mind. I rebuke the enemy who seeks to bring depression, hurt, saddness, disappointment, stress, anxiety, and heartbreak. I rebuke every negative word spoken against the women of God, every generation curse, every curse, every addiction, every disease or sickness can not reside with the women this day forth. I pray that they put their eyes on you and you show them where to go, when to go, and how to go. I speak healing in their lives, break through, over flow, comfort, and victory. Every unanswered prayer, answered! Every blessing, released..In the name of Jesus I pray...Amen
If I speak it into someone else's life, I will receive the things I need in my life!..Pray for someone today..Right now!

Emotions & Feelings...

As women, our heart is full of emotions that can sometimes feel very overwhelming and can lead us into the wrong directions in our lives. Our feelings and emotions can detour us off the right path when walking into our destiny.

Jeremiah 10:23 I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.

Things in the world are so temporary and that includes our emotions. Our feelings are temporary. Yes, shocking right? Not really. One minute a person falls in love and within that same day finds love somewhere else. Is that possible? Can that be true? The answer to that is yes. Why?  Our emotions can easily change towards people based off the wrong look, person says the wrong thing, or you become offended by something or someone.  We are human beings and our flesh is so easily moved by any and everything sometimes. It's surprising how our emotions can change when the situation changes in our lives. For example, when it rains outside, seems your mood changes just because it rains. You don't want to go to work, school, or do the daily activities you have done for years. Rain, can change our emotions!

My mother told me, When making life decisions, you can't trust your feelings but you can trust your Spirit! Your emotions can take you as my sister says to, " A Beautiful Place but a Bad Situation," meaning it looks good from your point of view but when you step back and look at the BIGGER picture it is a bad situation in the long run. My mother always taught us as women to step out of a situation look at it from someone else's point of view. What advice would you give a friend? Take yourself out of it.  To be honest it is hard to take our heart out of things.  To not get offended, hurt, or upset. That is why we must trust our Spirit. The spirit of God that speaks to us daily if we will just listen. We must also give our heart to God. He asked for it.

Pr 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

If there is doubt in your Spirit then God just gave you your answer but there are times you need to change your prayer in order to get an answer from God. Maybe your not asking the right questions or praying the right way. You must take the time to ask God to give you a clear understanding. Daily ask him for wisdom and knowledge in just every life. There is not a time we do not need God's wisdom and knowledge in understanding things in our lives.

Proverbs 16:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

That is why we can not rely on our emotions and feelings in times of trouble. We must remember that standing on the promises of God is standing on a solid rock. God's words never change! He has always been the same since the beginning of time. He will never leave you nor forsake you! We must stay rooted and grounded in the word of God in order to know his voice when we hear it. Seek the Kingdom of Heaven in everything that you do.

Praise Challenge..

I challenge you! Take the time each morning for seven days and praise God. Watch how it sets the tone of your day and week of blesses!

Praise God Every Morning for One Hour!

As my Bishop says, "Watch God DO!"

Be encouraged this week... Remember its about enduring the circumstance, situation, and obstacle. Praise God as soon as you open your eyes. Magnify his Goodness, Greatness, and his Mercy. Only speak of who he is in your life. Don't ask for anything. Just praise him for being God.

Watch how things change in your life.

Here is a song, I love to praise God too...

1. This is the Day!

2. Bless the Lord with ME

3. Trading my Sorrows

Now Watch God DO!
