Increase the Peace in your Life...

  •                                                       Many of us are in need of peace and calmness to relax, renew, and prepare ourselves for the next task on this journey. So when your in need of PEACE in your life..
    1. Begin to PRAY!
Prayer is very important in ourselves as saints. It is as a hedge of protection around us against the enemies advances. So many of us sometimes get comfortable in our positions and our prayer lives begin to fall by the way side. We even become too busy but your are never too busy to Pray. A prayer does not have to be a 3 hour session but simple words from the heart to Christ Jesus.
You can pray in your car on your way to work or even as you waking up for the new day begin praying and even while your getting dressed you can pray. Prayer sets the tone for your day so when a storm tries to rise up in your life. Prayer has already been sent to calm the storm.

We can speak, Father God, I thank you for a new day. I thank you for life, health, and strength. I thank you for calling my name this morning and never forsaking me. Lord, I know you are the author and finisher. You are Alpha and Omega and in your I put my trust. Lord give me wisdom on today to be a light in a dark place. God I speak peace in my home, my job, in my family & friends, and in my relationships. Lord, I ask that you teach me have to be a vessel of peace in any situation. Lord, I speak against any negative attitude, smart mouth, evil thought, and negative spirit that tries to rise up today. I rebuke any deceptive tongue, lying tongue, and gossip tongue. Let me not get into my flesh but allow your spirit to rise up within me today. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

You can add more as you see fit but this is just to get your started. As you begin to pray the Holy Spirit will begin to reveal the things you need to pray for in your life and lives of others.
    2.Obedience
1 Peter 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

Being obedient will keep PEACE in your life.  It is just like a child to his/her parents. Life is easier when you can come home and your children have obeyed every request you commanded. There was no back talk, teachers did not call you on the job, and they have even given you that 30 minutes of silence when you get home so you can adjust. It sounds nice right? Yes, My mother would ask for those things when we were kids and my day would be a lot nicer when I obeyed her requests. Same for us! Our Father in Heaven wants us to obey is will and his way.
    3. Trust
Many of us worry on a daily basis. It seems to be part of our life style to worry about everything but we should not worry at all when we know who is in charge of everything.
Matt. 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof
Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Remember to trust in the Lord with everything, even broken heart, poor spirit, trouble time, and weary days. I recommend getting you some scriptures for reference in times when you need them just pull them out your purse and begin to read. You have to remind your flesh who your trust is in. If you do not read his word, you have nothing to fight the enemy with at all.

~~Feel like Trouble on Every Side?

God woke me up EARLY this morning as usual with this topic...

Is there ever a point in your life when you feel you have trouble on every side?

Define Trouble:
to disturb the mental calm and contentment of; worry; distress; agitate.
to put to inconvenience, exertion, pains, or the like:
to cause bodily pain, discomfort, or disorder to; afflict:
to annoy, vex, or bother:
to disturb, agitate, or stir up so as to make turbid,
Dictionary.com

Seems every phone call or text message is trouble, stress, depression, and affliction. Just some type of attack from the enemy. You feel like ever two steps you make to get ahead, it seems as if your kicked back five more steps by unforeseen circumstance.  You start to screen your phone calls and check your voice mail less.

Do not get weary in your well doing! God has not left you nor has he forsaken you. If you feel you have trouble on your right & you left, know you have grace & mercy with you as well.
God's angels following you through every situation and trouble.

Hebrews 4:16:
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Learn how to call upon the Lord at all times such as good times, bad times, and troubled times. In those moments, when you are confused on what to do, when to do and how to do it.
Learn to seek God in everything and you will always be ahead of the game.

Psalm 46

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
   2Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Sometimes as women, we carry someone else trouble, we just pick up there problems and make them our own. No one asked us to do it. We just do it. We're more worried about the outcome then the person in the situation. We are out trying to find solutions when their sitting at home waiting for the problem to solve itself. First, we must learn to....help the person pray for themself. Yes, it is ok to want to help and we as women all have a mothering nature within us and we want to mother adults. I learned, you will only make yourself miserable, trying to mother grown folks. People have to learn to depend on God and not depend on man or well you! So we must teach them how to go to God by going to God with them.

Psalm 121

1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

By doing so, we will help build their faith in God, and recognize he is all power. We must help other run to God for them self and not to us as life savers. God is this alpha and omega. He know our beginning, end, and middle. Sometimes we get in God's way with dealing with someone by always trying to take his glory in saving the day. How does God get his testimony if your taking the exam for them. In school, that is considered cheating, we are not allowed to cheat.

Jer 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;

Also, learn how to go to the bible for direction and answers. Allow God to be God. Let him do something, cause you can't do everything, he can do all things.  Build your relationship with God and help someone build their relationship with God as well.  In order to really know who God is and what he can do, you got to spend time with him and get to know him. Learn his will for your life through your relationship with him. He will even let you see what is really going on in the troubled times. Surprisingly, he will tell you what to do in those times as well. No it is not really a surprise, he is our father, he takes care of his children.

Psalm 33:20-22:
20Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Always believe God will take care of you, through every obstacle, trouble, affliction, confusing moment, unsure decisions, and every attack of the enemy.
Psalm 22:19:
19But be not far from me, O Lord; O my Help, hasten to aid me!

God will take CARE of you! Trouble? God is the answer. So when trouble calls..CALL GOD!

Silent Killer: Emotional Abuse

What is Emotional Abuse?
- any behavior that is designed to control and subjugate another human being through the use of fear, humiliation, intimidation, guilt, and manipulation that wears away at the victim's self-confidence, sense of self-worth, trust in their own perceptions, and self-concept.
- anything from verbal abuse and constant criticism to more subtle tactics, such as repeated disapproval or even the refusal to ever be pleased.
With constant berating and belittling, by intimidation, or under the guise of "guidance," "teaching", or "advice," that results in the person clinging to the abuser because they do not want to be alone.

For more information: http://eqi.org/eabuse1.htm#What%20is%20Emotional%20Abuse?

Many women today are dealing with emotional abuse. Surprised? I am too. Just think you can go to work or school everyday. You would enjoy lunch with a co-worker or school mate, maybe even do some small talk here and there. Then one day you find out this strong, independent, outgoing, and caring woman is being abused by her mate. Well, you may be going through this right now and not even know it.

A girl in one of my classes got up and spoke about her abuse. She gave her testimony of being in this abusive relationship. It just shocked me. I had been sitting by her every class and I didn't know. Now she is not in this relationship now but she was giving her speech in class. Though I did not know her before, I was so proud of her for USING HER VOICE! No longer was she keeping silent about her experience. She spoke. He could not stop her from speaking up anymore. She smiled. The smile he tried to take away from her. She got it back. She laughs and tells jokes. He did not have her joy. His abuse was no longer taking her life. She has reclaimed her voice. Because of her voice another girl in my class heard. She spoke about her current abuse. She gave her the courage to speak up. Many people deny and pretend but it is time to stop and stand.

Now I know many of us would say this would never happen to me but it could be happening to you right now!  Let me encourage you to speak up about your situation. We care about you. You care about yourself, right?  Then you should not stand for your abuse anymore. Arrive..You are BOLD, BEAUTIFUL, TRUE, and NATURALLY YOU! You are BIGGER than you appear. You are STRONGER than you seem. For example you have been dealing with a abuse for so long and your still kicking!
The task ahead of you, is never as great as the power behind you.
Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
- Ephesians 6:10

If there is anyone dealing with emotional abuse. Speak. Use your voice. Your God given Voice! I am here and I am sure there are many people around you who do care.

I know it will be difficult but you need your freedom back! You will no longer be imprisoned by someone else.
Use your voice. Speak UP!
