Increase the Peace in your Life...

  •                                                       Many of us are in need of peace and calmness to relax, renew, and prepare ourselves for the next task on this journey. So when your in need of PEACE in your life..
    1. Begin to PRAY!
Prayer is very important in ourselves as saints. It is as a hedge of protection around us against the enemies advances. So many of us sometimes get comfortable in our positions and our prayer lives begin to fall by the way side. We even become too busy but your are never too busy to Pray. A prayer does not have to be a 3 hour session but simple words from the heart to Christ Jesus.
You can pray in your car on your way to work or even as you waking up for the new day begin praying and even while your getting dressed you can pray. Prayer sets the tone for your day so when a storm tries to rise up in your life. Prayer has already been sent to calm the storm.

We can speak, Father God, I thank you for a new day. I thank you for life, health, and strength. I thank you for calling my name this morning and never forsaking me. Lord, I know you are the author and finisher. You are Alpha and Omega and in your I put my trust. Lord give me wisdom on today to be a light in a dark place. God I speak peace in my home, my job, in my family & friends, and in my relationships. Lord, I ask that you teach me have to be a vessel of peace in any situation. Lord, I speak against any negative attitude, smart mouth, evil thought, and negative spirit that tries to rise up today. I rebuke any deceptive tongue, lying tongue, and gossip tongue. Let me not get into my flesh but allow your spirit to rise up within me today. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

You can add more as you see fit but this is just to get your started. As you begin to pray the Holy Spirit will begin to reveal the things you need to pray for in your life and lives of others.
    2.Obedience
1 Peter 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

Being obedient will keep PEACE in your life.  It is just like a child to his/her parents. Life is easier when you can come home and your children have obeyed every request you commanded. There was no back talk, teachers did not call you on the job, and they have even given you that 30 minutes of silence when you get home so you can adjust. It sounds nice right? Yes, My mother would ask for those things when we were kids and my day would be a lot nicer when I obeyed her requests. Same for us! Our Father in Heaven wants us to obey is will and his way.
    3. Trust
Many of us worry on a daily basis. It seems to be part of our life style to worry about everything but we should not worry at all when we know who is in charge of everything.
Matt. 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof
Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Remember to trust in the Lord with everything, even broken heart, poor spirit, trouble time, and weary days. I recommend getting you some scriptures for reference in times when you need them just pull them out your purse and begin to read. You have to remind your flesh who your trust is in. If you do not read his word, you have nothing to fight the enemy with at all.

A GREAT Read.."The Power of Crying Out.."

The Power of Crying Out: When Prayer Becomes Mighty (LifeChange Books)

I have been reading this book off and on for the past 3 weeks. With such a busy schedule it makes it harder to get a good book finished and read in a timely matter but every time I read a chapter its worth the time spent.

This book tells you the importance of crying out to God. There are times in our lives we feel as if Jesus is asleep on us as the disciples did in Luke 8:22-24 and that he is not aware of our storm but when the disciples cried out to Jesus he calm the sea.

I encourage you to pick up this book and learn the importance of your CRY! It tells you when to cry and scriptures to use in a cry.
It's nothing wrong to say, LORD, SAVE ME! or I NEED YOU NOW GOD. He puts us in positions so we can realize who is the controller of the storm and return glory back to him.

So take your time and look on the right and you can find this book at Amazon.com for very cheap price. I found my book at half price books. You will not be disappointed! READ and SHARE!

Encouragement for your Weekend.... "The Single Gift"

"The Single Gift"

How blessed you are, you single one,
Don't talk of care and woes.
You've got too much to be thankful for,
Oh what, you'd like to know.

It's no mistake, no misdirection
Of God's perfect plan
That you've not found your special lady
Or you, that certain man.

God loves you so and has much more
To give then you've ever received.
That He's giving His best to you right now,
You really must believe.

His best is Himself, do you have it in full
Or only a bit on the side?
No man can meet your needs like God,
Nor can a lovely bride.

If your life's not complete, you know that Jesus is
And your life He will fill
If you'll only put Him first each day
And live to do His will.

He's gifted you for undistracted
Devotion to the Lord.
There should be nothing that can interfere
With Him and prayer and the Word.

Unless you let down the guard of your heart
And let others take His place,
Then you'll lack joy and peace and hope
And not experience His grace.

So give your heart right back to God,
Let Him keep it safe for you.
And when it's better then His best,
He'll make your one into two.

As an unmarried woman, you have an advantage and opportunity to spend as much time doing the will of the Lord. The time to build your relationship with the Lord without distractions. As a single woman you are married to the Lord, you devote your time and effort to him, when he is ready he will give you to the right mate. So, don't sit around waiting on God to send the one but spend your time working in your local church and building the Kingdom of God. Now is the time! While you have the time!

Keeping a Holy Attitude...

Has there ever been a time you were placed in a situation that seemed unjust? But the first reply that came to your head with fleshly, negative, and out right would have not been a Holy Attitude?

Let's be honest,  we have been in the situation where someone got under our skin and we wanted to tell them how to put it and where to go because we are fleshly beings the enemy is always telling you what you should say or do. With God there is a better way to response if you are slow to speak and quick to listen.

James 1:19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

If we are going to be walking in holiness and the Bible says, 1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy, if our mindsets are Holy then our attitudes must display the thinking or Christ. Remember the saying, What would Jesus do? That is the mindset we must have and our conversations must still be holy. We must not think, Oh I dare them! or Do they not know who I am? but look at who Jesus was and is still today. He is being talked about, misrepresented, accused, doubted, and joked about. Though he sat at the right hand of our God, he came on earth as a servant man, made human to start from the bottom to rise back to the top. He could have taken the same attitude and gave in to the flesh but he didn't because his purpose was bigger than that situation or accusations.

Jesus taught us humility in his life. He did not boast or demand anything which he could have being the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. That is not saying we can never speak up for ourselves but we must remember to use wisdom. We can calmly speak and defend ourselves or present the situation as we saw it. Sometimes we should just speak our battles wisely and some things aren't worth the fight. When you know who is in control and you believe your purpose is bigger than why fight? Do they know who you serve? Do they know the God you serve? We can not fault people for the lack of knowledge. We must pray for them even when they offend us.

It takes a strong person to become humble and walk away from a dispute. We couldn't do this on our own strength but God's strength has the ability to overcome anything of the flesh. Having a strong relationship with God will make it easy to be humble. Humility is not weakness. Having a solid foundation to stand on will help you understand when you speak and when to just listen.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

We must become humble without murmuring, complaining about it, and seeking revenge thinking, The next time I will get them! We must remember when we found Christ our conversation changed, we put off the old man for the new man, our walk changes, and our life changes. Christ died for us in love. That same love is expected of us to die daily so Christ can rise up within us.

To love God, we must love people. Jesus acted in love. We must act in love.  Again, we must love God and love his people! If we continue in love in our walk with the Lord it will show in our lifestyle.
Gal. 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Love doesn't seek to destroy but love supports, build, and strengthens. God will never place you in a situation in were your self-value and self worth will be demolished. We must remember to be kind and compassionate to one another. We must trust God in all things even when it don't make sense.  We must remember to forgive!

Luke 6:29 To the one who strikes you on the jaw or cheek, offer the other jaw or cheek also;

When faced with a tough situation always remember to PRAY! Prayer changes things, rearranges things, and re-positions things. Prayer works! Something isn't working out or is stressing you out. Pray that God gives you wisdom in your actions and pray mercy over that person that has offended you. Must people do not even realize who their messing with in the Spirit. They do not know about your anointing or your ability to call God to your rescue. So pray for people. Do not hold it against them. You know the enemy is working everyday to kill, steal and destroy your future. So do not allow an attitude to stop a blessing.

Matt 5:44-45 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Is there anything you can think of that you can't do by FAITH?

........Well?

Begin reading Hebrews 11....
Now tell me what you can do by FAITH? By faith I can....
Speak into your life. Encourage yourself in your journey and walk with the Lord.

Heb. 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please the Lord...

You must begin to look at your life not through natural sight but through eyes of faith because your natural eyes will always bring doubt, fear, worry, discouragement to you. Faith is like a pair of glasses you put on to bring clarity and sharpens your view. What you thought you saw or counted wasn't really what was going on. When you placed your glasses of faith over your natural eyes you will see the situation totally differently. You will begin to see things moving in your life and begin speaking into your life based on the view of faith.

Sometimes we can become side track by things in our lives that will cause us to lose our faith glasses. There are other times we allow someone else's view of our life to taint our view of the situation but God requires you to see things by FAITH! Then we begin to try to hurry the process because our view is clouded by flesh.

The Lord knows the desires of our hearts but he also knows that the things of the world will never satisfy us. The things of the world do not last forever such as jobs, cars, houses, money and clothes, those things come and go in our life. Flesh will never be satisfy or secure by the things of the world.

The enemy knows that we fear that things in our life and those things in our heart may not come to past. He will begin playing games with your mind. Then you begin to question the abilities of God, Will God? , Can God?, or It doesn't look like God hears me? Maybe if I do such and such then God can do the rest.

Let me be honest with you, God created the world without our help, Why can't he handle your situation without your help? When you step out of it, let God handle it, and watch things work for the Glory of God! That is FAITH! You must trust the Lord in all things. As women we can sometimes find ourselves feeling we can handle this and give God something else but God wants everything. ALL! Not Partial!
In order to stand on the promises of God, we must keep our eyes in the word of God, through his word our faith will build and grow!

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Spending time in your word and with God you will begin to see the beginner picture. You will grow in your faith! Knowing that there is nothing God can't do. Can God? God Can!
